The CAECE University was founded in 1967 in Buenos
Aires. Since then CAECE has specialized in the areas of Mathematics,
Biology and Computation. In 1998 it established a new campus in the city of
Mar del Plata, where the Computer Systems degree is taught.
The University is located nearby the sea (400 meters). It is also close to
the traditional district of "Los Troncos", characterized by its elegant
mansions and five-star hotels. Its building was constructed around a
100-year old mansion, which has been preserved and carefully restored. It
provides classrooms and computation laboratories for 1500 students.
