Wednesday March 26: “CIRCUITO CHICO” Tour, HALF DAY: u$s 12
38 miles. Tour starts following the coast of Nahuel Huapi lake from Melipal neighborhood to Playa Bonita. Then, surroundings slowly turn into a quiet, silent forest, passing by San Eduardo Chapel, Puerto Pañuelo, Llao-Llao resort, Escondido lake, Lopez bay, Panoramic Viewpoint and the main attraction o the tour: Campanario Hill. This hill, with a chair-lift system and a resto-bar, has from its top one of best views in the world. From Bariloche’s six classic spots, only Campanario Hill allows the visitors to admire them all at once. 10 miles away from downtown and 600 feet higher than its surroundings, it has a unique view of Llao Llao, Victoria Island, the whole city, Otto Hill and Catedral Hill. This 360º panoramic view integrates local landscape. It only takes 8 minutes on the chair-lift to access all of that wonderful beauty. Right on the top, there’s a mountain resto-bar in the center of this outstanding environment.
Wednesday March 26: “CIRCUITO GRANDE” Tour, FULL DAY: u$s 30

156 miles. This is one of the most picturesque of all traditional tours in Nahuel Huapi National Park. During this trip uou will visit Limay river head waters, the Amphitheatre, Enchanted Valley, Traful river, Cuyin Manzano mountains, Minero river, Traful Viewpoint, Arrayan port, El Portezuelo, Correntoso lake, Villa La Angostura town, Huemul peninsula and Bariloche Viewpoint, among other places.
Thursday March 27: “CATEDRAL” Tour, HALF DAY: u$s 12.
25 miles. Only 12 miles away from downtown, you can access Catedral hill’s foot, from where you can take one of the many lift systems and enjoy 42 miles of ski tracks, since this is one of South America´s most important winter sports centers. Out of ski season, lift systems remain open and you can take eny of them up to the top to play with the snow on the higher summits. There are also many other mountain activities such as trekking, horseback ridding, mountain bike, ice and rock climbing. Or just enjoy the gorgeous view of lakes, valleys and the Andes peaks.
Thursday March 27: "TRONADOR" Tour, FULL DAY: u$s28.-
106 miles. Departing from Bariloche southwards by the 258 route, you can take one of the best tours in Nahuel Huapi National Park, passing by Gutierrez lake, the Watershed Line, Guillelmo stream, Mascardi lake, Black Beach, Manso river, Piuqué island viewpoint, Vuriloches Valley, Pampa Linda, Ventisquero Negro, Garganta del Diablo, etc. These are the gorgeous places you’ll get to know as the track winds up through a lush forest full of native species. This track, being narrow, shifts directions on a fixed time. You can also combine this tour with Los Alerces waterfall and Hess lake, following Manso river.
Friday March 28: “ISLA VICTORIA” Tour, HALF OR FULL DAY: u$s35.-
Starting at Puerto Pañuelo you will sail Nahuel Huapi lake up to Victoria island, where you visit the old coniferous nursery, Playa del Toro and Bella Vista hill among other interesting spots. Then you sail again up to Arrayanes Forest to enjoy a short walk through this myrtle colony, considered to be unique in the world. After that, you return to Puerto Pañuelo.
Friday March 28: “PUERTO BLEST & LAGO FRIAS” Tour: u$s45.-
Departures are from Bariloche to Puerto Pañuelo, where you will sail to Puerto Blest, along the most important of Nahuel Huapi lake’s seven branches. You’ll pass by Centinela island, where Francisco P. Moreno’s mortal remains rest. Visit Los Cántaros waterfall with a beautiful walk up by a side stair that leads to Los Cántaros lake. Then you cross Blest branch to Puerto Blest, have free time to have lunch and those who want to do so, can take a special tour to Frías lacoon. Sailing its emerald green waters you arrive to the National Customs Administration office at Perez Rosales international pass. Then you return to Bariloche following the same route.
Calafate (Perito Moreno Glacier)

Bariloche-Calafate-Buenos Aires / 28-30th March

March 28: Departure from Bariloche to El Calafate by flight transfer in to “Mirador del Lago” hotel (www.miradordellago.com.ar).
March 29: Breakfast. Excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier, departing at 09:00hrs, arriving Calafate at 17:00hrs aprox. Departing from El Calafate, a 80km travel on gravel roads is done, until reaching the “pasarelas” (walk paths) where different panoramic views of the Perito Moreno Glacier can be enjoyed. Lunch: either the restaurant next to the walk paths, the snack bar or a picnic. Opcional: mini-trekking.
March 30: Breakfast. Excursión to glaciar Upsalla and Onelli, with transfer included. Full day. We depart from Punta Bandera Port to Upsalla Glacier, is the largest glacier within the continental patagonic ice, even though it has suffered severe losses during the last years. It owes its name to the swedish city of Upsala, whose university promoted the first glacialogical studies in the area. Then we land at Onelli area, surrounded by forest. A typical patagonic forest where lenga and guindo are found all over covered by "old man's beard" usnea (liquen). Crossing the forest, through approx. 800 m, we reach Onelli Lagoon, where glaciers Onelli (45 km2/18 sqm), Bolado (16 km2) y Agassiz (31 km2) meet. We usually find the lagoon full of icebergs. Return to port.
March 31: Breakfast: Transfer out to airport, flight to Buenos Aires

March 31 : Transfer out to airport. Flight from El Calafate to Trelew. Transfer to hotel Bahia Nueva – Puerto Madryn (www.bahianueva.com.ar)
April 01: Breacfast. Excursion to Peninsula Valdes, full day. The tour leaves Puerto Madryn towards the north taking provincial roads Nº1 and Nº2. Some times during the whales high season the tour takes the old gravel road to Pirámides for watching the whales from the shore at El Doradillo beach which is considered a natural reproduction area. After 77 km. you will arrive to Carlos Ameghino Isthmus, a narrow strip of land from where you may contemplate Golfo San José on one side and Golfo Nuevo on the other. 5 km away from this place, along a gravel road, you will come to Isla de los Pájaros, where marine birds form an important breeding colony. There are view points from where you may observe the population of the island. Then, after traveling approximately 25 km you will arrive to Puerto Pirámides resort, from where the boats for offshore whale and sea lion watching leave (whales from June to December and sea lions in Summer). A few minutes from this place, and following a gravel road, you may visit Reserva de Punta Pirámide, where the sea lion colony may be observed. The reproduction period is between December and March. From Puerto Pirámides to Caleta Valdés, Punta Norte or Punta Delgada you will travel along gravel roads for approximately 75 km. (45 miles) to arrive to the fauna reservation.
April 02: Breakfast. Excursion to Punta Tombo, full day. From Puerto Madryn to Trelew city (70 km along National Road Nº 3). Then, after other 107 km you will get to Punta Tombo, the largest continental reservation of Magellan penguins (Spheniscus magallanicus).
April 03: Breakfast. Transfer out to airport. Flight to Buenos Aires.
